DUCKS CAMP SIGNUPS BEGIN

(Central Islip, N.Y., Jun. 2, 2010) – The Long Island Ducks today announced there are excellent spots available for this summer’s annual youth baseball clinics. Players of all abilities are welcome and interested parties are encouraged to sign up early due to limited availability. Sign up forms are available by visiting www.liducks.com and clicking on the Kids Zone icon, or by calling (631) 940-DUCK.
“Ducks baseball clinics are a fantastic experience for any child looking to play on a professional field while learning from the pros themselves,” says Ducks general manager Michael Pfaff. “The experience each camper gains will be an invaluable part of their growth as baseball players.”
Clinics are open to children between the ages of seven and 14. For just $195, campers get two days of instruction, lunch each day of the camp, an equipment bag and a Ducks Kids Clinic jersey. Just bring your glove and a bat, and be ready to play, rain or shine!
The first clinic session takes place on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17. Session two will begin on Friday, August 6, and end on Saturday, August 7. Each camp day runs from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and campers should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. each day.

The Long Island Ducks play their home games at Suffolk County Sports Park and are in their 11th season of play. Individual game tickets for the Ducks 2010 season are on sale now!
