June 20th’s Ducks Game Postponed

(Central Islip, N.Y., June 20, 2009) - Tonight’s (Saturday, June 20) game versus the Lancaster Barnstormers has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game with fireworks has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 9, at 7:05 p.m. Fans holding tickets to today’s game can use them at the 7:05 p.m. contest on Thursday, July 9, ONLY.
The Ducks conclude their homestand on Sunday against the Lancaster Barnstormers. Game time is 1:35 p.m., and the Citibank Park gates open at 12:35 p.m. Julio Manon takes the mound for Long Island against Lancaster’s Ben Fritz. Plessers presents Father’s Day at Citibank Park and fans will also be invited onto the field for a pregame autograph session with the 2009 Long Island Ducks, as well as following the game for Kids Run the Bases, courtesy of Bethpage Federal Credit Union. Fans unable to attend can tune into all the action on WNYG 1440 AM or online at www.liducks.com, with Casey Lynn calling the play-by-play.
